Terms of use and purchase
The rules of the site and the rules of the subscription, in one document: what you can do with Noosphere, what each plan includes, how it is charged and how it is cancelled.
Last updated: 26 August 2026
1. Purpose and acceptance
These terms govern the use of Noosphere (brain.psiconautica.org) and the purchase of its subscription plans. Using the site means accepting them; buying a plan does too. The owner is the one identified in the Legal notice.
2. Who may use it
- People aged 18 or over. Creating an account is a declaration that you are.
- With a real email address, and under your responsibility: what happens with your credentials is on you. Tell us if you suspect someone else has them.
- One person, one account. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. What you may do, and what you may not
You may ask as much as your quota allows, quote answers while citing the original source, use Noosphere in your work or your research, and cite the corpus as explained on The corpus.
You may not:
- Extract the corpus or the graph in bulk or automatically (scraping, bots, serial requests), or reconstruct the database.
- Resell access, share your credentials, or provide a service to third parties through your account.
- Use the tool to damage the service, evade quotas or breach its security.
- Present a Noosphere answer as your own medical, legal or clinical advice, or use one to justify a clinical decision without verifying the sources.
- Use the content to promote substance use to minors or to facilitate unlawful sale.
4. The nature of the answers
The corpus, the models and the interface change over time. The same question can give different answers at different moments, and that is expected: this is not a document, it is a query.
5. Plans and prices
| Plan | Price | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Free | A limited number of queries per day. Graph, concept cards and paths without limit |
| Normal | €5/month · €50/year | More daily queries and no cut-offs from the site-wide cap |
| Premium | €10/month · €100/year | The highest quota, chat history, priority support and early access |
The exact daily quota for each plan is published and kept current on Plans. Prices are shown with tax included; the annual option is equivalent to ten monthly payments.
Daily quotas may be adjusted if the cost of the AI engines changes. Any reduction is announced 30 days in advance and, if it does not suit you, you can cancel and get back the unused proportion.
6. Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Payment is processed entirely inside Stripe. Noosphere never sees or stores your card details.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period — monthly or annual — until you cancel it.
- You can cancel whenever you like from My account, with no explanation and no penalty. You keep access until the end of the period already paid for; the current period is not pro-rated.
- If a charge fails, Stripe retries under its own policy. If it never succeeds, the subscription drops to Free.
- Invoices are available in the Stripe customer portal, reached from My account.
7. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have 14 calendar days from purchase to withdraw, without giving a reason, under Spanish consumer law. Write to noosphere@psiconautica.org from your account's email address.
Because access is immediate, if you have used the service during those days the proportion consumed is deducted. If you have not used it, the full amount is refunded. Refunds are made by the same payment method, within 14 days of receiving your notice.
8. Suspension and closing an account
The owner may suspend or close an account that breaches section 3, with notice unless the breach is serious or obvious. If the account had an active subscription and the closure is not down to a breach by you, the unused proportion is refunded.
You can leave whenever you like by writing to noosphere@psiconautica.org: your account and everything attached to it is deleted, as detailed in the Privacy policy.
9. Availability
The service is provided as is, with no commitment to uninterrupted availability nor to a guaranteed number of answered queries. This is an independent project, not critical infrastructure. Should the service be down through our own fault for more than fifteen consecutive days, anyone with an active subscription is entitled to an equivalent extension or a proportional refund.
If the project ever shuts down for good, we would give as much notice as possible and refund the unused part of live subscriptions.
10. Liability
The owner is liable for direct damage caused by its own breach, capped at the amount the user paid over the previous twelve months. It is not liable for damage arising from decisions made on the basis of an answer without checking its sources, nor for use contrary to these terms. None of this limits the rights consumer law grants on mandatory terms.
11. Changes
These terms may be updated. Changes affecting prices, quotas or rights are announced by email to anyone with an active subscription, 30 days in advance and with the option to cancel at no cost.
12. Governing law, complaints and jurisdiction
Spanish law applies. You can send any complaint to noosphere@psiconautica.org; it is answered within one month at most. If you are a consumer, you keep the right to go to the courts of your own domicile and to the European online dispute resolution platform. Otherwise, the parties submit to the Courts of Puerto del Rosario (Las Palmas, Spain).
